How do I get to Battersea Power Station?

Getting to Battersea Power Station is easy via a number of public transport routes as there are a limited number of car parking spaces onsite.

Where do I find Santa’s School for Elves?

Santa’s School for Elves is located inside the Power Station, at the southern end of Turbine Hall A on Level One. Head to the highlighted space on the site map here, or ask one of our friendly Guest Services team when you arrive.

Is this event wheelchair accessible? 

The event space is accessible for wheelchair users. The entrance to the yurt, where children will meet Santa, measures 70cm in width so Santa will come out of his yurt to interact and take photos with any event goers that aren't able to enter due to width restrictions. There are lifts nearby that can be used to access Level One.  

Can I just turn up on the day and book? 

Tickets should be pre-booked online as there is no ticket office on site. We highly recommend advance online booking to avoid disappointment.
There may be a limited number of tickets available to buy on the door via a QR code, if we receive last minute cancellations and these will be available on a first-come-first-served basis, however we strongly recommend booking in advance. 
 

Do babies and small children need their own ticket? 

Babies and children aged 2 years and under do not require a paying ticket, however they will not receive a gift from Santa. All children aged 3 years and above will require a paying ticket. If you have a child under two who would like a gift from Santa, they will require their own ticket.

All gifts are suitable for children aged 3 and above. 

Do adults need their own ticket? 

Yes, all adults require a ticket to attend Santa’s School for Elves, and children cannot be left unaccompanied during the session. If you do not purchase an adult ticket along with the children’s ticket, your child will not be able to take part in the experience. 

If I cancel my booking, do I get a refund? 

No we do not issue refunds for cancelled bookings, however you are able to amend the date and time of the booking yourself, subject to availability, up to 12 hours before your scheduled session. In order to be able to amend your booking you will need to have registered for a DigiTicket user account. This can easily be done while purchasing tickets and you will be prompted to do so at the end of your transaction. 

You can amend future bookings up to 12 hours before the session's scheduled start time.  

Can I amend the names on the booking? 

Bookings will be made under the name of the person booking for your group. You do not need to change the name on the booking, as long as you show the confirmation email upon arrival and know the name that the booking is under. 
 

What is the age range? 

Santa’s School for Elves is designed to be enjoyed by the whole family; however, we expect children aged 4-14 years to particularly enjoy the event, so please bear this in mind when booking. 
 
 

Can I bring my pram/buggy inside the event? 

Space is limited however you can bring your pram/buggy inside the event space.

Do I have to print the ticket from the email? 

No, you may show your ticket on your smart phone or make a note of the booking name and your reference number. In the interest of saving trees, we recommend not printing your ticket! 
 

My child is unwell today (day of visit) - may I change to another day or have a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable; however, we may be able to rearrange your booking (subject to availability). If it’s less than 12 hours until your session or iIf you are having trouble rearranging your booking, then contact our team via battersea-tickets@bakehousefactory.co.uk and we will do our best to rearrange your booking.

Can I change my booking date or time?

You can make changes to your booking online up to 12 hours before the booking date and time if you have a DigiTickets account (subject to availability). Bookings are unable to be amended on the day they are booked for. 
 

 

How long does the experience last?

The experience lasts approximately 25 minutes, however, please allow 35 minutes for your session to include time for entry and exit. 

Can I take photos or film in the event? 

You may take photographs of your friends and family, including a family photo with Santa. 

Will there be any photography or filming inside the venue?

There may at times be a professional photographer or videographer present at Santa’s School for Elves taking photographs and/or film. By purchasing tickets for the event, you agree to photos or videos being taken, and the possibility that these may be used by the organisers to promote this or future events. If for any reason you do not wish for you or any member of your group to be recorded or photographed, please notify our team on arrival and we will ensure your wishes are adhered to. 

What time should I arrive for my booking?

Session times have been programmed to allow time for entry and exit so you won’t miss anything!  Please do not arrive at the venue any earlier than 5 minutes before your booking time, as we have limited capacity. 

If you are late for your booking, then you are at risk of losing your slot.

What if I’m late for my booking?

If you are late for your booking time, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to participate and you may need to buy new tickets to come back at a later time or on another day (subject to availability).  

We reserve the right to fill your space if you have not arrived in time for your booking. 

Please contact our team by email, via the contact page on this ticket site, if you have any concerns. Emails will be responded to within 48 hours.

Can I pay for my tickets with cash? 

No, we are not able to accept cash payments. Only card payments are accepted - either online when booking, over the phone where pre-agreed or at the venue via QR code (if payment was not made online or you are adding additional tickets to an existing booking).

What happens if a session or the event is cancelled? 

In the unlikely event your session is cancelled by the organisers, we will endeavour to rebook you onto another session at a time that works for you.  If there are no further sessions available or you are not able to attend any alternative dates offered, then we will refund the cost of your tickets minus any booking fees.

Are dogs allowed at Santa’s School for Elves? 

Registered assistance animals are permitted in the event at all times and dogs are permitted within the wider Power Station, so you are welcome to leave your dog with another adult during your children’s session.


Dogs are only permitted within the event space following these conditions:

  • Pets can only enter the experience during the end section when your family is entering Santa's yurt for an interaction and photo
  • Pets must be picked up when in the experience if possible as we’d like to avoid any accidents
  • Small pets that are well-behaved and on a lead at all times

Please alert staff member at the start of the experience so they’re aware of what’s happening and can assist accordingly.

Is smoking or vaping permitted inside the venue? 

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the venue.

Can I use my mobile phone inside the venue? 

In order to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the experience, please ensure all mobile phones are turned on silent mode while inside Santa’s School for Elves. You may use your mobile phone to take photos.

I can’t attend, can I give my tickets to another person? 

You are welcome to pass your tickets to a third party if you are unable to attend your booked session. 

If you choose to sell or give your ticket to another person, you do NOT need to notify the venue of the change of name, they will only need to have the booking name and/or booking reference. We will be unable to help with any enquiries relating to booked tickets from persons who are not the named person who bought the original tickets. 

We cannot accept liability for tickets passed to a third party or any transactions between third parties.

I’ve bought tickets from another person, and I have not received them. 

We cannot accept any responsibility or liability for tickets that have not been purchased directly from our ticket site or website. We will be unable to help with any enquiries specifically related to booked tickets from persons who are not the named person who bought the original tickets. 

How much are tickets? 

Tickets for Santa’s School for Elves are £12 per child and £6 per adult with a £2.50 booking fee per order.

I would like a refund? 

If you were not happy with your experience and would like a refund, please email battersea-tickets@bakehousefactory.co.uk to request a refund. No refunds will be given on site at the event, unless in exceptional circumstances if you have purchased your ticket on the door using our card machine.

Do you have any SEND sessions? 

We have SEND sessions running every Thursday from 10:00 – 10:25 and every Sunday from 11:00 – 11:25.  

These sessions have been created with SEND persons in mind and will operate at a reduced capacity, and ambient noise will be at a low level. The silent disco headphones will have an adjustable volume to cater for any sensory issues or hearing impairment. with reduced capacity.

Can I eat or drink in the event space?

In the interests of health and safety, we request that you do not eat and drink in the venue. Please dispose of food and drink prior to entering the event space in the nearby bins.
